My my My my
Westerly Area Youth Lacrosse welcomes you!

We have always made the safety and well being of our players, coaches and families our number one priority.   As such, the WAYL Board has decided to maintain our season 2020 pause status.  During this time we will continue to monitor developments and recommendations related to COVID-19.

The decision to continue with a pause on our activities is not arbitrary and is in-line with the positions and recommendations of multiple lacrosse organizations, public health authorities and the Rhode Island Department of Health.

Like all of you, our hope that this crisis stabilizes and that the season will ultimately get under way, but we will only move forward with WAYL activities if we are confident that in doing so we do not jeopardize the safety and health of even just one member of the extended WAYL community. To reaffirm, our number one priority is to protect the health of our players, families, and the other members of the local community who come into contact with us.

We will communicate any updates as appropriate.  In the meantime we hope that all of you remain healthy.
